Black Forest Iced Tea

1 tbsp black tea leaves - either a strong brew from Assam or English Breakfast sachets or loose teas.

1/4 teaspoon cocoa powder

1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

4 cups water

1/4 cup black cherry juice (you can use more, I wouldn’t recommend more than 1/2 cup)

Maraschino cherries with stems

Combine tea leaves, cocoa powder and cinnamon.

Boil water and pour over tea/spices. Steep for 5 min then strain.

Cool completely then add cherry juice.

Serve over ice with maraschino cherries.

(Add a splash of cream and/or "spike it" to make it extra special!)
